Summer’s Appointment with Dr. Parry is at 4pm

It’s not even 8am and we are SO TOUCHED by all the texts and messages of support as we go into today with high hopes and, as you can imagine, much anxiety.

Summer had her echocardiogram on Tuesday. That seemed to go well but we really don’t know how to interpret until the meeting with Dr. Parry today. (Results posted at end of this post.) 

Today Summer goes into Dana Farber for a PET scan and bloodwork at 12:30pm. Then she and Bob meet with Dr. Parry at 4pm where Dr. Parry will walk us through all of results and we learn is Summer is cancer free - what her treatment or surveillance plan will look like going forward. 

As soon as we get Summer’s results, we will post it here but that will probably be around 5pm.

We love the repeated use of the term NORMAL and have been told by our medical friends and family that regurgitation of the tricuspid valve is nothing more than a heart murmur. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
