 Schedule: 

  • 11am Summer & Bob to Dana Farber 
  • 12:50pm Blood draw 
  • 1:30pm  PET Scan 
  • 3:30pm 2nd blood draw (not planned - the first one got screwed up so they needed a second)
  • 4:00pm  Meeting with Dr. Parry
Bob and Summer arrived a little late to Dr. Parry’s office given the audible of needing a second blood draw.  Dr. Parry came DANCING into her office to deliver the good news!  The pictures below are an assortment from the day.  ENJOY! 💚

    Congratulations Summer! We just knew this was going to be the outcome. You’ve worked so hard and dealt with so much. Has anyone noticed the resemblance of Dr. Parry to our very own Dr. O’Leary? Do you have a picture of her without the mask? We hope to come down to see you and all your parents to celebrate soon. We love you.

Summer is OFFICIALLY CANCER FREE!!

 OMG BEST NEWS EVER!!!!! Summer met with Dr. Parry - got her results today and she is “NED - No evidence of disease” - which means that Summer is officially cancer free and in remission!!!! Her heart is “totally normal” and Summer has moved into surveillance mode with check ins every 3 months for the next two years!!! 💚😂💚😂 Bob took a ton up pictures and we will write up a post later but for now …  WE CELEBRATE!!

Finally time for a HAIRCUT!

Summer is glowing after her haircut this evening!    Summer’s gorgeous hair is growing in full & thick!  In celebration of her returning locks, Aunt Becky gifted her a haircut in Boston which she took advantage of this evening - and WOW !! 🤩🤩🤩 “No more mullet!” ~Summer We have all loved watching Summer’s hair grow back.  Summer looks STUNNING in short hair.  Tonight was a wonderful milestone and made a huge difference being able to go to a salon to get it cut & styled.  YOU LOOK AMAZING SUMMER!! 💚💚💚
