Day Zero Friday

With Summer’s treatment now over (YAHOO!!), we begin a new phase in Summer’s life.  One that we all hope will be cancer free. But before we can officially close this chapter, we patiently await the scans of September 6th and 9th to learn the results of the last 4 months of treatment. We also have a few other important events to include - like our delayed Team Summer celebration dinner (which we will be able to do in a few days), the delivery of Thank you gift bags, and maybe a future Boston Marathon 2023 announcement if Kim makes the Dana Farber Marathon team.

Other than these events (and any additional significant milestones/events related to Summer’s health) this blog will be tapering off over the next month, not posting daily, and then hopefully coming to a close.

We are so thankful to have such an amazing support system of family and friends, an incredibly talented and caring medical team, and an “imminently treatable” prognosis. Thank you for being here and following us during what has felt like… well, I think Summer wrote it best when she referred to it as the worst rollercoaster ride ever that’s on fire!!

Thank you - We love you all so much!
