Tuesday (Day 12 Cycle 6)
A nutritionist came and met with Summer. Suggested smoothies, broth and protein powder.
Summer and Laura had a good day. Summer is definitely not as bad as she was the last round. They spent the day napping, playing cribbage and watching true crimes.
New sores are erupting right now in her mouth and throat and she is tolerating little food like soup and ice cream.
The nurse, Taylor, from 7A came to visit her and hung with her and they seem like two peas in a pod like they were meant to be friends. On her Patient Gateway it says she is going to be there until Sunday. Taylor said they were having a bday party for Nurse Brooke in 7A on their Saturday shift and she said she would either sneak her over some ice cream or maybe even sneak her over to the party.
Tucker is good and now enjoys sleeping in Colby’s bed! He slept with Laura and Colby last night while Derek was at the ER and seemed so happy to be in the bed hahahaha!
