More Normal, New Eyebrows Monday (Day 18 Cycle 6)

Summer learned about temporary tattoo eyebrows and tried them out today. They look amazing and so real. They were easy to put on and are supposedly waterproof- very cool.
Summer sporting her new eyebrow tattoos!  Awesome!

Summer is coughing a ton and was really tired today but after the last few days of activity, would think that’s expected.  It’s frustrating for Summer that she can’t jump back to where she was and that “minimal activity” exhausts her.

The YMCA has a Live Strong program for people that are recovering from cancer treatment. The next program starts in September and Summer is signed up to participate. Hopefully this program will be one of the many things that are part of Summer’s rebuilding. πŸ’ͺ🏼🚴

Sadly, Bob and Kim are heading home for a few days but will be back on Thursday- Day 21 - for the purposes of celebration only!  The good news is their departure means all is getting back to NORMAL.

Apt D is headed home

And as we drove home with mixed emotions, I was looking for inspiration and Maya Angelou was on my mind. When I googled her in search of a book I had read, this quote was the first thing that popped up and made me smile.  It felt appropriate here.

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

          ~Maya Angelou.

Good night!
