Once everyone settled into being back in Wrentham, Summer and Bob put finishing touches on her chemo backpack in preparation for her much awaited LAST cycle of chemo that starts tomorrow. A few more patches and some final glue securing touch ups and it should be ready to go. So much character and … message on this backpack. It’s funny, yet dark. It’s a pretty powerful piece when you really take it all in.
Summer, Bob and Kim had dinner outside at The Gavel to celebrate the end of cycle 5 and the FANTASTIC news we received today from our secret letter project. We have to keep it a secret for just a few more days so as to not ruin the surprise - but stay tuned.

All in all, Summer is feeling “good” but so ready for this to be OVER. She had some trouble cleaning her PICC line due to kinks in the tubing. Nurse Erin wasn’t worried and said they could fix that tomorrow at Dana Farber. So while she’s feeling ok now, but it’s hard for her to be too excited about that when she knows what’s around the corner. The good news is that we are entering the last cycle - we can’t believe it’s finally here.
