Friday (Day 15 Cycle 6)

Summer had a tough night.  Woke a 3am with terrible nausea  Dr. Parry said this could be due to all the reflux Summer has been experiencing that has been pretty bad this cycle.

Multiple days of negative COVID testing for Bob and Kim just to be sure they were A-OK to be around Summer.

Unfortunately, Summer’s throat is very very sore - so much so she wasn’t sure that she could even eat scrambled eggs.  A frappe from Nicky’s was Summer’s favorite food of the day although this lunchtime bowl of ramen with a side of ice looks pretty delicious.

Do you eat your ramen with a fork or a spoon?

πŸ’šBRIGHT SPOT OF THE DAY:  One of Summer’s nurses sent her a very awesome message.  With the message was this picture of her phone case that she had put the lymphoma awareness sticker on.πŸ’š

Summer’s arm looks so irritated from the PICC line.

Today was a solid day of rest for Summer in her own bed, binge watching garbage TV.  And humorously, much of that time was also spent with her dad hovering over her while on the phone with AT&T trying to resolve a service issue.  Hahaha - it was somewhat comical (although I think Summer may have been getting slightly annoyed.)

And as the sun went down over Gillette Stadium on Day 15 of Cycle 6, we were all pretty happy with a Patriots 20-10 win over Carolina but more importantly that we are one day closer to the day AFTER Day 21!!

GOOD NIGHT!!
