Still Miserable on Wednesday (Day 13 Cycle 4)

 Schedule:

  • RECOVER and get RID of these sores in her throat! 

The good news is that Summer woke up this morning and her temp is 98.9 - yeah, back in the right range. Buuuuuut she is miserable.  The mouthwash doesn't quite get to the spot in her throat that has the sores and the numbing of the magic mouthwash only lass about 20 minutes in her mouth.  It's terrible.  This is Summer's breakfast today.

Our cousin, Keleigh, was sweet in coming to the rescue with varied flavors of hard candies to help sooth her throat and also help with nausea.  THANK YOU!!!

Soft, cold foods help to power through the day as best one can.  Hoping time can heal this throat.  That's it.  There's not much we can do but to wait and rest.  Hoping tomorrow is again a better day.

Summer is OFFICIALLY CANCER FREE!!

 OMG BEST NEWS EVER!!!!! Summer met with Dr. Parry - got her results today and she is “NED - No evidence of disease” - which means that Summer is officially cancer free and in remission!!!! Her heart is “totally normal” and Summer has moved into surveillance mode with check ins every 3 months for the next two years!!! 💚😂💚😂 Bob took a ton up pictures and we will write up a post later but for now …  WE CELEBRATE!!

Finally time for a HAIRCUT!

Summer is glowing after her haircut this evening!    Summer’s gorgeous hair is growing in full & thick!  In celebration of her returning locks, Aunt Becky gifted her a haircut in Boston which she took advantage of this evening - and WOW !! 🤩🤩🤩 “No more mullet!” ~Summer We have all loved watching Summer’s hair grow back.  Summer looks STUNNING in short hair.  Tonight was a wonderful milestone and made a huge difference being able to go to a salon to get it cut & styled.  YOU LOOK AMAZING SUMMER!! 💚💚💚
