More Monday, Less Sores, More Normal (Day 18 Cycle 4)
Schedule of the Day:
- More Rest & Recover!
Summer is really starting to feel back to herself and was very happy that she was able to go to the Cape and Onset yesterday. She still has sores in her mouth, but they are small and no where nears as crippling as they had been days ago.
She FaceTimed with her friend Jocelyn for hours today which I’m sure was also a welcomed social engagement. It’s tough when your best friends are all over the world - makes it tough to visit - so I am so glad Summer & Jocelyn had this time together.
Bob and Summer also began to make plans to bedazzle Summer’s chemo backpack when he returns on Thursday. Both Summer and Bob got some cool patches that they’ve been strategizing on how best to sew on. There’s a plastic lining inside the bag that they don’t want to puncture through which is going to make it tricky but I have no doubt they’ll come up with some creative solution.
Tomorrow the visiting nurse comes. Other than that, on to day 19! GOOD NIGHT!

Hi Summer! Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better and they you had a change of scene. Want to let you know to keep your eyeballs on your mailbox. A couple of deliveries from the girls are headed your way. We love you, Christine W. and crew. xoxox
