It’s Saturday (Day 2 Cycle 5)

We’ve got to kick off the day congratulating Colby for his academic recognition he received in the mail today. 

Congratulations to Colby for his “On A Roll” recognition. Not to be confused with the politically incorrect term “Honor Roll”??! (When did honor roll become offensive?) WAY TO GO COLBY!!

Summer had a solid day today, starting the day off feeling pretty good but by the end of the day, was surprised by how overwhelmingly exhausted she was.  Like she was not only sleepy tired, but her body was physically exhausted. 

We enjoyed an outdoor lunch today at The Kitchen at White Barn Farm’s, which Bob has been dying to check out since before it was open for the season.  It did not disappoint!  Delicious brick oven pizzas with an amazing crust.  We had the Maple Chipotle Corn and a Margarita pizzas. The pizzas were only slightly shadowed by the chipwich the three of us split for dessert - two chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream in between, an insane homemade ice cream sandwich.   OMG it was all soooo good.

It was a good NORMAL low key day with happily not much to report.  We wrapped up the night on the second floor lounge watching Thor. Summer fell asleep during the movie, which was nice. It’s great when she can get some sleep! Her body is working hard & needs as much sleep as it can get. 

Tomorrow we are back at Dana Farber to swap out the chemo bag for Day 3 and Laura, Derek & Colby come home from visiting friends in Onset.
