Monday (Day 18 Cycle 3)
Schedule:
- Visiting Nurse?
- Summer ball season starts for Colby
Unfortunately, Summer is still not feeling well. Her symptoms are the same and she can't seem to shake this sore throat & overall "bleh" feeling (very medical term). Luckily she has not have a fever and took a another Covid test which tested negative.
Visiting nurse: There was some confusion as to whether a visiting nurse was going to come today. It was on the schedule but we don't normally have a nurse on Mondays. This happened before so we will wait to see if we get the call. (update: no call, no nurse today)
Apt D: More progress on the the Lazy D van. Bob is in the process of scoping out what the next week weeks of work will be & capitalized on sunny weather by doing some poly on the tables.
In other Team Summer new: Kim had the day off today from work & is entering into her last week of work as the CIO for Executive Office of Education for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her last day is Friday when she will officially be semi-retired, taking what she claims is some much deserved time off. She is not sure what she is going to do next but looking forward to the space and time to figure it out.
Colby also started his new baseball season of summer ball and true to form, he brings home the win with the score of his first game, 4-3!
Depending on how Summer feels tomorrow, she is going to reach out to Dr. Parry to see if her current health conditions will have any impact on the schedule this week. She has bloodwork and a PET scan scheduled for Wednesday & Cycle 4 chemo starting on Friday.
This is going to be a BUSY WEEK for Team Summer!!

Wow, Summer must getting a bit nauseous on this rollercoaster ride. Yukky
