Video of the ice cream sandwiches that we made for our movie night! I wish they were not good. So crazy delicious!!
Tonight Colby had a double header after a full day of football camp, in the heat! The whole team was spent but they did their best. That’s a long night for Colby, Laura & Derek.
Bob, Summer & Kim decided to have a movie night. Summer suggested Tina Fey’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, a movie she’s been telling us we MUST watch. Although she was sharing movie suggestions in the context of funny movies at the time - so I think Bob and I were expecting a comedy.
Well it definitely wasn’t a comedy, but it was a GREAT movie and it had a great line in it that spoke to me -felt so appropriate for our situation fight now. Bob felt the same - So much so, he and I both wrote it down.
“Embrace the suck & move the fuck forward. What other fucking choice do we have?”
And we are back where we started this post, which is technically how our night ended. If there was ANYTHING any one of us could do to make this go faster or take away the suckiness, we would. We would do it in a heartbeat. It sucks. Just believing in the process and relying on Dr. Parry & her medical team.

Thank you for the postings. It’s the first and last thing we view every day. You are doing an excellent job of coping with the situation and keeping us on the periphery informed. We marvel at your managing everything and staying sane and focused on the goal. We are gracious for your contributions to this blog. Love,. Reina and Bob
