Thursday - First non-medical outing out of the house! (Day 17 Cycle 1)

 

First sunny day that we have had in a while - hoping that would set the tone for a GOOD DAY!  Lots of tears this morning but hopefully a shower plus sunshine will work wonders.  

Then we got invited to visit with Carolyn and Dave to see all their animals! ;) It was perfect weather for it - great to be out in the air and the animals were fun/funny.  I thought Bob was going to be eaten by Simba.  Summer needs to work on her horse feeding skillz.

Fragoman:  Kim got an email from Fragoman asking about Summer's PFML application status.  After doing a little digging, we were approved for part 1 - which meant we needed to complete the application and submit part 2 & 3 - so we did that are now just waiting on next steps.  That could take up to 10 business days. 

The nurse Keeetzee (obviously spelled wrong) came to change Summer's dressings and clean her picc line but unfortunately it was not noticed until she was gone that the way she did the dressing made it so Summer could not bend her arm and it pulled on the line.  After discussion with Bob, decided she needed to call the service back right away so it could get taken care of asap.  They gave Summer her direct cell so she could call and explain what was wrong and Keeetzee came right back to fix it.
