Sunday - Planning haircut and Tucker/Dilly now BFFs! (Day 13 Cycle 1)
Today was a great day - both in terms of weather and HEALTH! Summer felt great and we enjoyed some amazing spring weather - having charcuterie outside, Tucker & Dilly bonded over tennis balls & swimming, and Bob & Summer (w/Kim) played games at Apartment D.
Summer is planning her haircut and reached out to Darby to schedule an appointment. She wants to rock a buzz cut like Natalie Portman - and she wants to do it asap so as to be able to enjoy the cut before her hair starts falling out. She's got SUCH a positive attitude about this. Really incredible. Appointment scheduled for Wednesday at 5:50pm.
She wants to donate her hair to Children with Hair Loss (https://www.childrenwithhairloss.us/) - which seems like a great non-profit that will take hair that has been bleached.
Summer's tongue feels kind of numb - she describes it as the feeling she gets after having eaten too much pineapple. Other than that, no other symptoms today. She did get another bloody nose right after cleaning her PICC line - but we don't think that's related to cancer.
Colby has a double-header baseball game and then football skills - so super busy day of activities for Colby, Laura and Derek!
