Sunday (Day 18 Cycle 2)

Today was another positive day for Summer!  She was feeling good & enjoying the outdoors - even was visited by friends.

Laura, Derek & Colby headed home after the baseball tournament.

Colby had another good day of baseball at the tournament but they unfortunately lost their game today so they headed back home to Wrentham.  Bob, Kim and Summer were still in Manchester and decided to have a beach day at White Beach.

We played a fun (and very close) game of cribbage and Bob put together a delicious cookout with hot dogs, bratwurst, and sweet italian sausage with veggies, corn of the cob & a chocolate eclair for dessert.

When we got back to the house, Sam & her boyfriend, Matt stopped by to visit Summer on their way home from Newburyport.  It was so great to see these two together!  Sam is doing so great!

Sam finds crabs running around in the rocks.

We took Sam and Matt down to the water to show them what a hilarious swimmer Tucker is. Tucker and Dilly loved fetching tennis balls and Tucker gladly put on a show.  It was a really low tide and Sam found little crabs scurrying along the rocks.

Bob made a homemade 'shower sleeve' since we left hers back at Wrentham. Ingenious!

We wrapped up the day together watching the Celtics game 7 on a huge projection our the wall. What a thrilling last few seconds of the game with a HUGE Celtics win!  And the MVP & Larry Bird Trophy goes to Jayson Tatum - but we wanted to see Larry Bird hand out the trophy. That’s ok, we’ll take the win.

Good night everyone. Back to Wrentham tomorrow.

  1. Thanks for the huge update. A lot happening everywhere: fun in CT, at the beach, visiting an old friend, making a makeshift shower cover. Thanks Pops
