    Colby baseball tournament (Connecticut)

    11am Bob haircut 

    3pm dBar Cookout (Manchester by the Sea, MA) 

Today was a great day all around. Summer is feeling well - almost normal, and is looking forward to seeing some people. 

Colby did incredibly well in his baseball tournament today (2 games -1 loss, 1 won). He even won MVP!  On to the next round tomorrow!  Yeah, Colby!!!

And our day kicked off with this incredible update from Summer’s cardiologist!! 

THAT set the mood for the day - OH YEAH, TODAY IS GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY!! 

Dilly is enjoying his field trip to the north shore but he would like to lodge a complaint with management about the food. Luckily for him, we ordered pizza for lunch & Summer shared hers, albeit through a donut.

Summer’s birthday week continues at the dBar - After a brief afternoon thunderstorm, the sun came out and Summer’s fans were able to stop by to say hello for a small outdoor gathering!  Dave Rowse put together an incredible spread/cookout- left nothing to spare - steak, chicken, ribs, quac & mango salsa - the WORKS!  Thank you so much, Dave!! And Becci decided to bring, instead of salad, a luau theme of goodies that would be way more fun. And she was sooo right - thank you, Becci!

The sloth!! The inspiration for the theme

Becci was “suppose to bring a salad” but saw this luau sloth at the dollar store and decided our gathering needed a theme!  No one NEEDS a salad! 

 

I can’t take enough pictures of these dogs!  They are so cute!! 

After being away for so long, it was healing to see our friends who we’ve soooooo missed. Thank you so much for loving us and showering Summer with so much love. It’s helping us all get through this!
