Monday (Day 12 Cycle 2)

 Schedule:

10:00am - Visiting Nurse Erin (bloodwork)

Bob and Kim (& Tucker) to Eastman

Summer is doing well  - she’s still low white blood count window (results below) and her mouth still feels funny - but today was a solid day, followed by a solid Celtic win & Prada shoes for Bob for $5.00.

Erin, our visiting nurse arrived. She changed the lines but did not change the dressing (that only happens once a week) and ordered new supplies.  Erin was very nice - she grew up in Wrentham a couple houses down the street.  She & Summer had a lot in common.  Summer’s goal is to be everyone’s favorite patient!

Bob did the daily pills for the week.  There are a number of prescriptions that need to refilled after Sunday so Summer’s job is to message Dr. Parry about that.  (She also needs to request the copy of her Medical Provider Form so we can update Derek’s PFML paperwork).

The results of the bloodwork came back.  We had to google toxic granulation - and are still unsure what that means and whether we should be concerned about it.

Bob & Kim are headed up to Eastman today to make sure the house is ready for Nana this weekend - she arrives on Friday. Then they go to MBTS to repack clothes & drop off the trailer. When they come back to Apt D, they will have the truck, so Summer took many fun pictures in the Camaro.

Tucker rode shotgun with Kim up to Eastman.

Log Your Log:  nope, nada.

Comments

  1. Very good report. A few of the vitals are bit out of spec, but they should settle into spec with a brief relief from the chemo. Summer is cool behind the wheel of the convertible. She’s definitely in her element. Kim must have looked away because that fella has his boot on her hood, Prada or not. It’s cool how you zip around the lake to help recharge and get reinvigorated. You’re at a great place battle that lymphoma—lots of cool positive distractions. Pops
