Wednesday Update (Day 2 Cycle 1)

Summer had a great day one and so far she’s is having an equally great day 2 of chemotherapy.  All of her vitals are strong, her kidneys are working hard, & she’s been cleared to stand- even walk around a little bit (which she said maybe she’ll be up for in a day or two).  They made slight adjustments based on fluid intake on day one, which we are told is totally normal.

She said she’d characterize yesterday as being anxious and tired while today she just feels jittery- like she’s had too much coffee.  But her spirits are high & she’s really feeling the love & support coming at her from everyone - we can’t thank everyone enough!

So other than that, we are kicking back & embracing the ‘boring’ of the day.
