First walk of 7D pod at BWH
Summer was cleared to get up and walk around yesterday and today she decided to explore the D "pod" & surprised her dad at the microwave. It was great to see her up and around. She took a few laps like a pro and then returned to her room.
It was pretty emotional to realize that walking the hall would be an actual milestone for anyone & I think the realization that its going to be a difficult road to recovery was really tough.
