After the biopsy, the doctor called and said it was more complicated than they had anticipated. They were surprised to find she had a tumor in the collecting chamber of the heart which they believe could be causing blood pressure instability. They seemed happy with the amount of tissue they were able to collect from the biopsy. She is in a fragile state and they will be moving her to Surgical ICU. She’s going to stay in the operating room until they can find her a bed in ICU.
There is a LOT more to this story which includes chest compressions ... but I don't have it in me to write about it right now.
