Friday Dana Farber Trip (Day 11 Cycle 1)
Today was another trip to Boston for bloodwork and a visit with Dr. Parry. Bob and Laura drove in with Summer to Dana Farber. Sadly only one extra person could go in with Summer so Laura went in to check on wigs while Bob went to the meeting with Dr. Parry.
Vitals look good. Summer's white blood count was (3 - check that) and she will go in on Monday to see if the count goes up or if Summer still isn't yet at it's lowest count (NADIR). Pending that outcome, Summer will have more bloodwork on Thursday.
And we learned the schedule for Cycle 2 which shifts to start on Thursday - so cycle 1 will be 23 days. (We will have to get Kim some liquid paper!)
Summer's Schedule for the day:
- 12:00 A visit/shop at Friend's Place @ Dana Farber
- 12:30 Bloodwork
- 1:30 Check in with Dr. Parry
